20 Almond Joy Miniatures or 10 Almond Joy snack size bars
3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
Filling:
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup Hershey's Cocoa
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups of milk
2 tsp vanilla
32 Almond Joy Miniatures or 16 Almond Joy snack size bars, cut in 1/2" pieces (Candy slices easier if placed in freezer for 15 minutes)

Crust: Preheat oven to 325º. Lightly butter a 9" deep dish pie plate. Place ingredients in a food processor. Process until mix is thoroughly blended. Press onto bottom and up the sides of prepared plate. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely on rack.
Filling: In a medium saucepan, stir together sugar, starch, cocoa and salt. Blend in the milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, until it boils. Boil and stir for 1 minute. (Mix will be very thick.) Remove from heat and blend in vanilla. Add candy pieces and stir until melted.
Pour into prepared crust. Press plastic wrap to surface. Refrigerate. Top with sweetened whipping cream, if desired.

I doubled the filling for a deep dish pie plate. I also tried a 3 Musketeer version of this pie, for non-coconut fan. Changed to graham cracker crust and just replaced the Almond Joy candy bars with 3 Musketeer candy bars for the filling.
