1/2 c. Butter or Margarine, softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. Brown Sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. sugar
2 Eggs
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 12oz pkg. semi-chocolate morsels
1 c. Pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and shortening, gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add creamed mixture, beating well. Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans.
Drop by scant 1/4 cupfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cook slightly on cookie sheets.
