Ingredients:  
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar

Cream together; add 2 eggs, mix.

1 1/2 cup pumpkin
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup nuts (walnuts)

Mix well. Drop on sheet. Bake at 350 for 15-20 min.

6 TB butter
1 - 1 lb pkg confectioners sugar (about 4 3/4 cups)
1/4 cup light cream
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
