1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 cup peanutbutter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F
Sift the granulated sugar and brown sugar together.Beat the butter until soft. Add the sifted sugars gradually to the butter until creamy. Beat in the egg, peanut butter,salt and baking soda. Sift the flour before measuring; then add the flour to the batter along with the vanilla. Roll the dough into small balls. Place them on a greased cookie sheet. Press them with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes.
