1 c. Light Brown Sugar
1/2 c. Butter
4 Eggs
1 tsp. Baking Soda
3 c. Flour
3 Tbsp. Sour Milk*
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1 Small Glass Whiskey (Bourbon of Your Choice)
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 lb. White Raisins
1 lb. Pineapple (Dried)
1 lb. Cherries (Dried)
1 1/2 lb. Pecans Chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Take 1/2 c. flour and flour all of the dried fruit.

Beat sugar, butter, remaining flour, eggs, baking soda, sour milk, whiskey, vanilla, and nutmeg together.

Add fruit. Mix all ingredients well.

Chill dough.

Grease cookie sheet.

Drop dough with a teaspoon. Flatten top of dough with a spoon because the dough will not spread out when baking in the oven.

Cook for 15 minutes in a 350º F. oven.

Instructions To Make Sour Milk:

1. Pour out the amount of milk for the recipe. Let it get to room temperature.

2. Add 1 tbsp. of vinegar for every 1 cup of milk in the recipe. If the recipe calls for 1/2 cup of sour milk, add 1/2 tbsp. of vinegar. Lemon juice can be used in place of the vinegar.

3. Stir in the vinegar. The milk will curdle in a few minutes.
