3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. flour

3 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Cream fat with sugar. Beat in eggs and flavorings. Mix 3 1/2 c. flour and soda into batter. If needed, gradually add more flour until dough loses "wet", shiney look. Shape into log shapes and wrap in waxed paper to chill in fridge before rolling. To cut out Santa faces roll about 1/4 to 3/8 inch thickness on lightly floured surface. (Check baking temp and times in other cut-out cookie recipes. Grandma Gladys didn't write other details here.)
