2 1/3 c sugar
1 1/3 c shortening
4 eggs
1 1/2 c milk
5 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp vanilla
About 5 c flour or enough to make dough stiff enough to roll

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together sugar, shortening, eggs
Add dry ingredients alternating with milk
Mix until a soft dough
Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 15 minutes
Roll out and cut
Put on lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 400º for 10 minutes

Makes MANY cookies
