2 eggs beat well
1 ½ cup sugar
Butter size of a hickory nut
1 cup mashed potatoes
1 cup milk
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 heaping teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
Flour as needed
Lard or cooking oil for frying
Whole cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients; add enough flour until stiff enough to put on a hard surface to roll out
Roll out to ¼ to ½ inch. Cut with donut cutter and drop into hot lard until brown. Add a handful of whole cloves to the lard for flavor.
