Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup flake coconut
2 cups corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Add sifted flour slowly to butter-sugar-egg mixture. Add nuts, coconut and oats. At this point the dough is very thick. It is easier to fold the corn flakes into the cookie dough as opposed to the mixer so the corn flakes do not get all broken. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes.
To make the "Cowboy Cookies", omit the corn flakes and add 1-6 oz. package butterscotch chips and 1-6oz. package of chocolate chips. Then bake as above.
