Pie Filling:
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks (save egg whites for meringue)
3 tbsp. cornstarch (thickened)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla or coconut flavoring
1 tbsp. butter
1 cup coconut (Add coconut and butter last)

Meringue:
3 egg whites
1/4 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk. Add one egg yolk at a time and blend together. Add cornstarch and beat. Add last egg yolk and remaining ingredients except coconut and butter. Add the coconut and butter last.

Mix the meringue ingredients and add to pie. Brown in oven.
