Ingredients:
35 Saltine crackers with unsalted tops
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 - 1 1/2 pkgs. chocolate chips (semi-sweet, milk chocolate, or whatever)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Line a cookie sheet with foil and spray it with PAM. Place crackers on cookie sheet to fill it up in single layer. Bring to a boil the melted butter and brown sugar, and boil for 5 minutes. If you use the microwave, be sure to use a large bowl and watch that it doesn't foam up and overflow. Add vanilla and mix well. Pour the "toffee" over the crackers evenly, spread to the edges. Put in the oven and bake for 5 minutes. Take out and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow the chocolate chips to sit and soften for about 5 minutes or until they are spreadable. Spread the chocolate evenly over the crackers. Place in freezer to harden. When cooled and hard, take out and break up into pieces. Store in refrigerator and/or freezer in covered container.
