1 lb. Butter
1 C. Cornstarch
3 C. Flour
1 C Icing Sugar
Vanilla, or any flavoring or your choice,Rum is nice too

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the flour and cornstarch a little at a time. Add the vanilla or flavoring of your choice, at least 1 tsp. Form into balls and press down with a floured fork. Also, you can roll the mixture up with wax paper to make a roll of dough the size of the cookie you'd like and refrigerate overnight, then slice into cookies. Place on a cookie sheet and cook in a mod. oven, 300º F until golden brown, about 12 to 15 min. depending on your oven.
Remove from oven when ready and cool for 30 sec. or so and remove with a spatula to a wire rack to cool and set. Store in an airtight tin can. Enjoy!
