Ingredients:  
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp soda
2 c. sugar
1 well beaten egg
5 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening , salt, vanilla & soda with sugar.
Add egg. Then alternate flour and milk. mix well.
I usually refrigerate til ready to roll out.
Roll dough and cut with cookie cutters to the shapes you need
Bake at 375 for 8 min or until light gold.

Frost with butter icing.
