2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1/8 t. cloves
1 t. ground cinnamon
1/2 t. ground nutmeg
1/2 c. softened butter or margarine
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. Libby's Solid Pack Pumpkin
1 egg
1 t. vanilla extract

Caramel Frosting:

1/4 c. butter or margarine.
/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 T. Milk
1/2 to 3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 t. vanilla extract


Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, set aside. In large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add pumpkin, egg and vanilla. Beat until light and creamy. Add dry ingredients, mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Smooth tops of cookies. Bake in preheated 350ºF oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool to warm on wire racks. Drizzle with Caramel Frosting let cool completely.

Caramel Frosting:
In small saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Stir in brown sugar and milk. Bring to a boil; cook over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Transfer to small mixer bowl; cool. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, beat well.
