1/2 cup of butter
one 1/2 cup of sugar
1 egg
1 cup of pumpkin
1 teaspoon of vanilla
two 1/2 cups of flour (or 3 cups if consistency is too thin)
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 cup of chocolate morsels

preheat the oven to 350
grease cookie sheets
combine cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl
beat in eggs, pumpkin and vanilla
mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and spices
add chocolate morsels
spoon dough using tablespoon size scoops and space evenly on cookie sheet
bake 10 to 15 minutes
