1/2 cup butter-softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 large egg
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 cup flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar, molasses, egg and vanilla; beat well.

Combine dry ingredients and add to above mixture a little at a time to form a firm dough. You may not need the entire amount.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheets. Press down slightly to form into a disk.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 min.
