2/3 C Crisco
1 Egg, beaten
2 C Flour
1 C Sugar
1/2 C Sour Cream
1 Tsp Vanilla
2/3 Tsp Salt
1/3 Tsp Baking Soda

In a separate bowl mix 1/2 C Sugar and 1 Tsp nutmeg

Mix 1/2 C sugar and 1 Tsp nutmeg. Set aside.

Blend Crisco and sugar, add beaten egg. Dissolve soda in the sour cream, and add to the sugar mixture. Stir in flour sifted with the salt. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with the sugar/nutmeg mixture.

Bake at 375º for 10 -12 minutes. Cool on rack.
