6 squares Baker's semi-sweet or bittersweet baking chocolate
4 squares Baker's unsweetened baking chocolate
1 tsp. baking powder
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 c. toasted and chopped walnuts (optional)
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º
Microwave chocolates and butter in a large microwavable bowl on high 1 1/2 - 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring halfway through heating time
Stir until chocolate is completely melted and smooth
Stir sugar into chocolate until blended
Mix in eggs and vanilla
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt
Stir in nuts
Drop by rounded Tbsp. 1 1/2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 12 minutes or until set
Do not overbake
Let cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet
Let cool completely on wire racks
Store in airtight container
