Background info from tastebook.com: See’s Candies were always out at Grandma and Grandpa’s house during the holidays. I love the candy tables and I am sure everyone in our family will continue on with the tradition. This is the original See’s fudge recipe: Given to Amy DeVore by Emma Julian c. 1930, this is “supposedly” the original recipe for See’s Fudge, produced by the See’s Candy Company, Los Angeles. Emma allegedly worked for See’s stealing the recipes, one ingredient at a time and later owned her own candy store.
