6 c. white sugar
2 c. dark corn syrup
1 lb. margarine or butter
1 15 oz. tin evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped walnuts, coconut or maraschino cherries.

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook sugar, butter, syrup and milk over low heat for 30 minutes.
2. Add fruit and nuts and cook over high heat to soft ball stage, stirring constantly..
3. Add Vanilla and cool until lukewarm or until mixture looses its gloss and starts holding its shape.
4. Pour into buttered pan
