1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. canola oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. (12 oz) chocolate chips
1 c. quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
1 c. crisp rice cereal or 1 c. cornflakes

Oven - 350º.

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the oil, egg, and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture.

Stir in chocolate chips, oats, and cereal. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 12-14 min. Remove to wire racks.
