1 cup large tapioca
5 cups whole milk
3/4 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
4 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Soak tapioca overnight in milk.
Cook in double boiler until it thickens and the tapioca is cooked. (This takes quite a while, so be patient)
Add egg yolks sugar, vanilla and salt and cook again until it thickens. Watch carefully at this stage.

Serve.
