½ lb. soft butter
½ cup confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 ¼ cups flour
¼ tsp. salt
1 large pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.

Sift flour and salt together.

Add flour mixture to the butter mixture.

Add the chocolate chips.

Chill the dough. Roll into 1 inch balls.

Bake about 20 minutes at 350º F until set but not brown.

Roll in confectioners' sugar when cool.
