Fudge is a tricky thing to master, but when it's done right the very heaven's open up!
This is one of those very rare treats we use to make during the holidays. I pulled this faded, typewritten recipe out of a crumbling, aged spiral ring notebook that mom had saved from the house fire in 1988. Though the recipe is a simple one and the ingredients are humble; the fact that it was lovingly placed in that old beat up book made it sacred.
