2 c. sugar
1 3/4 c.light corn syrup
3/4 c. oleo
1 13 oz can carnation milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook over low heat stirring constantly until boiling:
1/2 c. milk, syrup and sugar. When boiling hard,
add other half of milk, butter & cook slowly until firm
ball forms in water(from another recipe, abt. 20 min,
maybe closer 30) Butter pan. Sprinkle pan with nuts
and pour mixture into pan. Cut while still warm
