1-3/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
2 T milk
1 tsp. vanilla
48 Hershey chocolate kisses, unwrapped before you start cookies
Directions:

Cream shortening and brown sugar. Mix in all remaining ingredients EXCEPT for the candy kisses. Mix thoroughly, roll dough into small balls. Roll balls in white sugar. Cook on ungreased cookie sheet @ 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Immediately top each with a candy kiss
