4 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER SOFTENED
1/2 CUP SUGAR
2 EGGS
1/4 CUP MILK
2 CUPS FLOUR
2 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
FILLING
1/2 CHOPPED WALNUTS
3 TABLESPOONS SUGAR
1/2 TEASPOON CINNAMON
1 CUP RASPBERRY JELLY

CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR ,ADD EGGS AND MILK MIX WELL,ADD THE FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER. TURN THE DOUGH ONTO A FLOURED SURFACE AND KNEAD TIL DOUGH IS WELL BLENDED.WRAP IN PLASTIC WRAP REFRIGERATE FOR SEVERAL HOURS.PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES.
IN A SMALL BOWL COMBINE THE NUTS ,SUGAR,CINNAMON.
DIVIDE THE DOUGH IN HALF. WITH ROLLING PIN ROLL OUT THE DOUGH TIL ITS ABOUT 1/8 THICK,ROLL INTO A OBLONG SHAPE.SPREAD THE JELLY OVER THE DOUGH SPRINKLE 1/2 THE NUT MIXTURE OVER THE JELLY. STARTING AT THE BOTTOM ROLL UP LOOSELY CAREFULLY MOVE THE ROLL TO A PARCHMENT LINED COOKIE SHEET ,PLACING THE SEAM DOWN . REPEAT WITH THE OTHER HALF. BAKE FOR 25-30 MINS. COOL AND SLICE
