1 1/2 cup butter -salted
1 cup powdered sugar
8 oz ground pecans (can also use almonds)
3 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup powdered sugar for top

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 325 degrees
Allow butter to soften or put in microwave a minute to melt
Mix all ingredients in a stand up mixer or by hand
use about 1 1/2 tsp and form into a crescent
bake until just light brown
While just warm sprinkle cookies with powdered sugar on top
