2 cups and 2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cream of tartar
2 tablespoons corn starch
½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
½ cup shortening
¾ cup white sugar
¾ cup and 2 tablespoons DARK brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (12oz package)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place eggs in a bowl of warm water.
3. Melt butter in microwave for 1 minute.
4. Add sugars and melted butter to mixing bowl. Wait 5 minutes.
5. Add shortening and cream for 2 minutes.
6. Add vanilla. Add eggs one at a time. Wait for 5 minutes.
7. While waiting in separate bowl combine first five ingredients.
8. Slowly add dry ingredients to sugar, eggs, and butter mixture.
9. Mix until just combined. Then stir in chocolate chips.
10. Place parchment paper on cookie sheets. Place rounded tablespoons of dough on paper.
11. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and wait for 2 minutes. Enjoy.
