2 1/2 cups regular flour
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter; gradually add sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Blend in sour cream. Sift together dry ingredients. Gradually add to creamed mix. Chill dough. Roll dough on lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thick. Bake 7-9 minutes at 350ºF.

Frosting:
2 cups confectioner's sugar
2-3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
food coloring colored sugar

Beat together ingredients. Add desired food color. Spread on cookies. Sprinkle with colored sugar, nonpareils, etc.
