4 1/2 cups of sugar
1 can Carnation milk
3 6 oz pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips
2 sticks of real butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup black walnuts chopped




Directions:
Directions:
Put chocolate chips and butter in a large mixing bowl. Mix sugar with Carnation milk in medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil for 6 mins, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, start timing when it starts boiling. (Not less than 6 mins.) After 6 mins pour mixture over the chocolate and butter. Mix until it starts to thicken, add vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased (with butter) pan. Sprinkle with a few extra walnuts and press these into the fudge while it is warm. Let stand for 5-6 hrs or overnight before cutting. Cut into small squares. Makes 5 pounds.

My Stepmother,Mary Lou, makes this and sends us a box every Christmas. It is the best Fudge I have ever tasted. It doesn't last long!!
