1 c. Butter
3 1/2 c. All purpose flour
1 c. Sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Chill dough at least 3 hours or overnight. Roll dough out on a lightly floured pastry canvas with a rolling pin, to a 1/8" - 1/4" thickness. Place on untreated cookie sheet.

NOTE: This recipe may be put through a cookie press but do NOT chill!
