1 lb sesame seeds
3 cup unbleached flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup clarified butter ( see recipe) or Ghee
1/4 tsp baking powder
3 tsp whisky
Ground Pistachios

Directions:
Directions:
Use a sauce pan and toasted the sesame until golden color and sit a side.
In a medium mixing bow add the dried ingredients. Beat one egg and a drop of whisky then combine it with the dry ingredients and mix to form a smooth dough if still dry add more butter to work with .
Spread the sesame on a flat serf's, cut the dough to a medium size ball and press it gently on both side in to the sesame
then press it again just one of the side to the pistachio and shape it to small thin circle disk.
Use a baking sheet place the cookies pistachio side down to the tray
Bake on 350º oven for 20 min or until light golden browned.
