3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 cup salted butter (cold)
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1/4 tablespoon baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º

Sift Sugar. Add Vanilla to cold butter and beat until fluffy. Gradually add sifted powder sugar and beat until creamy. Add flour and baking powder and stir until dough is smooth.

Roll or pat dough to 1/3 inch thickness. Cut into squares or rectangles. Stab with fork and sprinkle with white sugar.

Cut and place onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake until golden (about 30 minutes).

Cool on rack.
