Cream:
1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
Beat in:
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Sift together and add:
1-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
Add and mix well:
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Roll dough into one long roll between wax paper.
Refrigerate until chilled.
Spray or grease cookie sheet.
Slice cookies and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes

You can add chocolate chips or raisins also.
