1 (15 oz) box of raisins
1 c crisco
2 eggs
1 c raisin juice
2 c sugar
5 c flour
2 T baking powder
1 t baking soda
1 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins in 2 cups water for 10 minutes. Reserve one cup of raisin juice. Stir crisco into hot raisins. Then add sugar; eggs; and remaining ingredients.

***Not necessary to use a mixer, just stir by hand***

Spoon small balls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 12 minutes. Makes approximately 6 dozen.
