Ingredients:	Ingredients: 1/2 Cup Sugar 1/4 Cup Crisco Shortening 3 Large Eggs 1 1/2 teaspoons Lemon Extract 2 Cups All Purpose Flour 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder 1/8 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Lemon Zest GLAZE 3 Cups Powdered Sugar 1/4 cup Water 1 Tablespoon Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest

Directions:	Directions: Preheat oven 350º Cream together sugar & shortening. Add eggs & lemon extract beat well. Add flour , baking powder, lemon zest & salt. The dough should be soft and sticky. Using a teaspoon drop dough onto a slightly greased cookie sheet & press to flatten. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cookies should be firm and lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheet (to cooling rack) and allow to cool completely. Glaze: Combine powdered sugar, water and lemon juice & Lemon zest and mix until smooth. Drizzle glaze on top of each cookie. Sprinkle with remaining lemon zest.
