1/2 C. butter
1 C. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add sugar and beat until light. Beat in egg. Add vanilla, sifted dry ingredients and cream. Mix well. Chill several hours. Roll out on floured mat. Use various cookie cutters. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes. Let cookies cool and frost and or decorate as desired.
