1 Cup Shortening (1/2 oleo - 1/2 crisco)
2 Eggs
2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Pumpkin
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Baking Powder
2 tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp. Salt
4 Cups Plain Flour
1 Stick Oleo
8 tbsp. Sweet Milk
1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
Confectioners Sugar

Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs, pumpkin, 2 tsp.. vanilla and salt.

Sift soda, baking powder, flour and cinnamon together. Combine with pumpkin mixture.

Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350º for about 10 minutes. Makes 8 dozen.

Icing: Combine 1 Stick oleo, sweet milk, brown sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla. Let boil 2 minutes, place in mixer and add 2 or 3 cups confectioners sugar. If mixture is too thick, add a little milk.
