Yeast 1 pkg.
2 Cups corn meal
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 Cup warm water
1/2 Cup flour
2/3 Cup milk (warmed)
1 onion (chopped fine)

Mix yeast and water in bowl. Mix the rest of the ingredients and yeast mixture. Let stand for 30 minutes or longer. Fry in deep fat/oil until brown.
