1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 t. cream of tartar
1 t. baking soda
2 1/4 c. flour
vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Roll into small balls. Flatten on cookie sheet with fork dipped in milk. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 7 minutes or until golden brown.
