2 cups pumpkin
1-1/2 cups sugar, brown or granulated or both
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups rich milk or cream
3 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and pour into pie crust shell.
Bake at 450⁰F for 15 minutes and then turn the oven down to 350⁰F and bake for another 45 minutes. Turn oven off and leave the pie inside for 5 to 10 minutes. Nutmeg sprinkled on top.
