6 qts. of thickly sliced cucumbers
6 lg. sliced onions
2 sliced green peppers
1 can pimentos
(Connie adds a little red pepper for zip)

Syrup:
1 qt. applecider vinegar
6 c. sugar
1 t. tumeric
1 t. mustard seed
1 t. celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Slice veggies and add to a large bowl...cover with ice water and sprinkle with 1 c. salt. Let stand 3 hours. Drain water. Cook and in syrup for 20 min or until tender on high heat. Stir frequently

Bring lids to boil and bottle pickles and seal. No pressuring or waterbath needed.
