1/4 cup sour cream, room temperature
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 large egg
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups flour
1/2 cup apricot preserves or prune plum jam

SUGAR GLAZE
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tsp. corn syrup
2 1/2 tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sour cream and yeast. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Using pastry cutter cut butter into flour until it resembles coarse meal. Add sour cream mixture.
On floured surface roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Let cut cookies stand for 15 minutes. Make thumbprint in center of each cookie. Fill it with jam.
Bake at 325ºF for 12 minutes. While cookies are warm drizzle with glaze.
