1 lb ground beef (or gr. pork)
1/2 cup mined green onions
1/4 cup minced water chestnuts
1/4 cup minced mushrooms
1/2 cup frozen green beans, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg slight beaten
1 pkg lumpia wrappers (spring roll shell)
1 quart salad oil for frying

Lumpia Sauce:
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:

Brown beef, drain excess fat. Add remaining ingredients except lumpia wrappers and saute until meat is done, then cool. Place 2 tbsp filling about 2 inches from the nearest edge of each wrapper. Fold edge of wrapper over filling; fold left and right sides toward the center to enclose filling in envelop fashion. Roll toward open end. Moisten edge with water and seal. Deep fat fry in oil heated to 36t degrees F. for 203 minutes or until golden. Drain; cut each into thirds. Serve with lumpia sauce. Combine lumpia sauce for dipping.
