1 cup scalded milk (warm)
1 cup hot mashed potatoes
2/3 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 Tbsp salt
2 packages of yeast dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water (preferably the water the potatoes were cooked in)
2 eggs beaten
flour - approx. 7 cups

Directions:
Directions:
mix all ingredients except flour
Mix in 6 cups flour until pliable, knead in last cup of flour
Place in lightly greased bowl in warm place and let rise till double. Punch down and let rise again.
Roll out into 1/2" thickness, cut into 4" circles, fold over and brush with butter and let rise
bake at 400 º for 10 minutes or until brown
