3/4 c. shortening
1/3 c. peanut butter
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
preheat over 350º

Mix all ingredients and roll into balls. Press down with fork on a greased cookie sheet

Bake 12 minutes at 350º

These were my husband Don's favorite cookie, no matter what cookies I made I always had to make a batch of these for him.
