1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup regular crisco
1 t vanilla
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup flour
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1/2 cup sour milk (add 1 T vinegar to 1 cup milk)
1/2 cup cocoa in 1/2 cup water.

Filling:
3/4 cup crisco
1 cup confectioners sugar
6 T marshmallow fluff
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and crisco, add vanilla. Mix well, add eggs and mix to combine. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with sour milk. Made a paste with 1/2 cup cocoa and 1/2 cup water. Add. mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees, cool.

Filling:
Combine all ingredients, mix well, frost one whoppie pie, top with another.

Personal Notes:
I have trouble with the crisco taste to heavy in the filling. I cut back some on the crisco for that reason.
