Cream together
1 cup softened butter
2/3 cup sugar
Beat in
one egg
Add:
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cup flour (sifted)
Directions:
Directions:
Mix until ingredients are well blended. Chill dough 2-3 hours. Preheat oven to 350. Roll out dough and cut. Bake 8-10 minutes.

For Frosting:
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 TB butter (melted)
1TB milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. lemon juice
Combine, beat till smooth.
