Chocolate chips ¾ cups

Flour 250 gm
Egg 1
Sugar ½ cup

Oil ¼ cup
Baking soda ¼ tsp
Semolina 4 tbsp

Method
• Mix together 1 cup flour, ½ tsp baking powder, a pinch of salt, ½ cup castor sugar, 1 tbsp ghee and 4 ground green cardamom. Knead to dough and keep aside for 30 minutes.
• Now make into round balls and flatten with palms.
• Top with chopped almond and pistachio, brush with beaten egg.
• Now put in a baking tray and bake in a pre heated oven of 180 degrees for 15 – 20 minutes.
Method
In a large bowl combine the oil, both the sugars, egg and vanilla essence, sieve together flour and baking soda, gradually add sieved flour to the sugar and egg mixture, mix well, divide dough in half on a greased baking sheet, shape each portion into a 15” by 3” rectangle about 3 inches apart, sprinkle chcoclate chips and nutsm press lightly bake on 190 Degree C for 10 minutes. cool for 5 minutes, cut with a serrated knife into 1 inch strips, remove on wire rack to cool.
Khajoor Method
In a bowl mix 250 gm flour, ½ cup sugar, 4 tbsp semolina, ¼ cup ghee, ¼ cup oil, ¼ tsp baking soda and 1 egg, mix well and form into a dough, if required add milk, keep aside for 15 minutes, roll the dough, cut into diamonds and deep fry.
